BridgeYear fixes this problem by offering our Career Test Drive® experience, a unique career exploration opportunity that is both employer driven and student informed.

To capitalize on this BridgeYear experience, employers can help in various different ways like providing: industry expertise, materials for CTDs, and/or monetary donations to contribute to BridgeYear’s nonprofit mission.

To partner with BridgeYear, employers can provide any of the following:

  • Industry expertise – we take great care in ensuring our career simulations are not only fun, but accurate. To do this we need your industry expertise to verify average wages and current growth rates as well as your creative ideas in designing new CTD modules!
  • Materials for CTDs – when designing and building new CTD modules for our fairs, we strive to provide the materials real professionals use. So, by helping to contribute authentic materials from your industry, you’s help ensure students are getting the most accurate simulation possible. 
  • Monetary donations – if you cannot provide any of the above, or you can but would like to give more, a simple monetary donation always goes a long way to making sure our mission stays alive

Chamberlin Roofing and Waterproofing has teamed up with BridgeYear to increase awareness about career opportunities in professional building services. Through a series of site visits, staff trainings, and brainstorming meetings, Chamberlin supplied BridgeYear the new Caulker Career Test Drive® module for students in the 2019-2020 school year. This module exposes students to entry-level jobs and on-the-job trainings available at Chamberlin.
