Our Impact

Connecting Students to Successful Career and Educational Pathways

BridgeYear’s programs create a far-reaching impact, not only for students but also communities and employers. By connecting underserved youth to high-demand careers and educational pathways, we are driving positive change that extends beyond individual success and contributes to a more equitable society.

I think the Career Test Drive® Fair is a great opportunity for students to get hands-on experiences to get a feel for whether these careers are a match for them or not… If they can actually do the things that their job would include, then it’s going to help them get there."

Our 2021-22 Impact Report

BridgeYear’s 2021-2022 Impact Report celebrates a year of great change, uncertainty, and growth. As we look back on the dramatic disruptions to education and overall economic uncertainty, BridgeYear focused on those opportunities that do not require a four-year degree.

From launching MorePathways (a BridgeYear website) to expanding our advising services with more holistic support, this report showcases our learnings and the impact they had on the community. Join us on this journey of impact as we work together to provide long-lasting opportunities for young people in our greater Houston community.
